Sanity SaversTM for a BALANCED Life.

We are all living with more stress. In this world of high speed technology, too much information and overscheduling, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the things we have to do in our everyday lives.

To find out if you’re stressed, take the Sanity SaversTM Stress Test.

  • Are you a “glass half empty” person? Try and develop an optimistic attitude and view adversity as an opportunity for learning and growth.
  • Do you have a tendency to do everything all at once? Learn to prioritize and do one thing at a time. Taking tiny steps each day can help you reach your goals. Identify time wasters.
  • Are you trying to be SUPERWOMAN? There’s no kryptonite on earth so let go of being supermom, superworker, superwife.
  • Are you a perfectionist? Being perfect is impossible. Learn to be satisfied with “less than perfect” and be more compassionate with yourself. Learn to quiet self criticism.
  • Are you critical of others? Be more tolerant, forgiving and patient of others. Listen to their concerns and find ways to compromise.
  • Is it difficult to say NO? Set boundaries and live by them.
  • Do you like to be in control? You can’t change people and some situations but you can change your attitude.
  • Do you have health concerns? Live healthfully and consciously. Eat well, exercise, get restful sleep, build a spiritual connection. Journaling, imagery and breathing exercises help to gain a sense of balance.
  • Do you spend time with the wrong people? Be with positive people who are good for you, whom you care about and who care about you.
  • Have you forgotten how to laugh and play? Take time from work to enjoy life and add humor and creative play to your routine.
  • Are you disenchanted with your work? Do what you love to do. Find rewarding work, volunteer or pursue a hobby. When a person is involved with what they love, stress is reduced. If you answer “yes” to many of the questions above, you may want to develop a program to manage your stress and keep BALANCE every day of the year.
