Looks like it’s here ….and it’s here to stay. Living greener, more sustainable, more natural.

Meet Robin Feltner, who not only is CEO of an eco-chic line of bath and skincare, but also someone who embraces a green lifestyle. She walks the talk and has made her products as pure as she can, forgoing fillers and synthetic ingredients to create soaps and lotions that feel and smell amazing and are highly beneficial to the skin. Find out why filler ingredients are used in our products, how to avoid them and how to simply live more “greener.”

“I believe in living a green sustainable lifestyle and I could not come out with products that didn’t abide by that theory.”

The debate will continue about synthetic ingredients in our products, our foods and the environment, but Robin believes that if there is a more natural alternative, why not make that choice? “Open your eyes and investigate and be more cognizant of the natural choices.”

According to Feltner,  ”It’s harder to do the right thing - living greener, more natural -but the planet will be so much better off and you’ll be teaching a valuable lesson to your kids and everyone around you.”

Jerry Craft loved to draw. After a career as an advertising copywriter and then an editorial director for Sports Illustrated for Kids, Jerry decided to strike out on his own. His dream was to write and illustrate comic books.  But he realized that by using his experience in the advertising-editorial world, he could make a living using both his creative talents and his business know-how to create the award winning Mama’s Boyz comic strip and other books and products he has authored and illustrated.

Off the Air Withdrawals

CB062571It’s Thursday at 3:30pm. Usually at this time I’d be right in the middle of  interviewing a guest on my radio show Bloom Talk or tossing a topic around about sprouting ideas, cultivating a healthy lifestyle or growing goals, ambitions, dreams! But, alas, the show is “on hold” due to changes with the web radio hosting network. And I miss it!

I miss doing all the prep work it takes to get up to speed on the subject matter and sift through all the wonderful people who I can talk to. From booking guests to introducing them to my audience, I miss the silence right before I go on the air and my adrenaline rush once I start the show.

I think I’m actually having withdrawals from the “high” I feel when I’m inspired by people’s stories and learning something new. But most of all, I miss connecting with my Bloom community and sending updates on who’s blooming, a new healthy & yum recipe and what’s coming up.

In the last week, I have talked with so many women about blooming and received your kind emails on how you’ve enjoyed the show and want it to continue. You loved listening to how-to’s like:

  • Organize Your Life
  • Women Talking Money
  • From Idea to Author

…and you enjoyed my conversations with famous guests:

  • Deborah Santana
  • Supermodel Emme
  • Lee Woodruff

Other shows you enjoyed are:

  • Work with Passion
  • Are Your Ready to be Cherished?
  • Lessons from Pretty Smart Women

So, thanks for all your support as I’m working on my next steps. In the meantime, I want to hear from you and post stories in the Who’s Blooming section on www.bloomwithbarb.com.  Send your ideas, your thoughts and stories about people who are blooming to me at barb@bloomwithbarb.com.

And remember to keep sprinkling your Seeds for Success: Be positive, Love what you do, Organize and Own your life and Make it happen!

Dallas Woodburn

Follow a Passion - “I published my first book, There’s a Huge Pimple On My Nose, when I was in fifth grade. The teachers in my elementary school asked me to speak to their classes about how I pursued my dream of publishing a book. At the beginning of my talk, I asked the kids if any of them were interested in writing, and a few shy hands raised. In contrast, at the end of my talk when I asked the same question, nearly all the hands in the class shot up.” Read On

Healthy Lifestyle - “It seems like a lifetime ago that I was smoking cigarettes, drinking sugar free soda and rarely exercising.  That was my lifestyle when I was in my 20s.  By the time I was in my later 30s, I had started exploring natural healing modalities, like massage therapy, Reiki, aromatherapy, homeopathy, nutrition, supplements, exercise, etc.  There wasn’t anything in particular that sparked this transition – simply a desire to look and feel my best.” Read On
